Ride and Stride

A big thank you to everyone who gave up an hour of their Saturday on 10 September to sit in St Blaise to welcome the hardy souls who braved the weather to take part in this years "Ride and Stride".
Having a friendly face to greet you and an offer of tea or coffee and biscuits makes a big difference and tells visitors a lot about the village. This year we had 20 people signing in at the Church, 1 more than last year so thank you again. Ann Brownson

 

The WI

the WIA fabulous time was had by all at our summer garden party. Big thanks to Doreen for letting us use her beautiful garden and to everyone who helped out and came along. We had a yummy BBQ cooked by Fred and even a visit from the 'Queen'! The weather was very kind to us too. A perfect day.
